Ways You Can Support The Fineprint

The Fineprint Guide is built on the belief that understanding the Fineprint of healthcare costs can change lives — and your community action can turn knowledge into real support. Here are three ways you can get involved.

Join Us in the Fight for Equitable Healthcare for All.

We believe that every person should be able to receive the help they need to take care of their health.

As of 2024, about 14 million Americans owe over $1,000 in medical debt. This deprives these individuals of the ability to maintain their credit scores and it forces them to delay further medical treatments.

Through our projects and fundraising events, we seek to provide direct assistance to those who are struggling with paying for medical bills, equipment, and more, alleviating individuals and families of hardships that come with accumulating medical debt.

How Your Gift Makes a Difference

Your support helps transform complex healthcare systems into clear, accessible pathways,  turning knowledge into tangible support for communities that need it most.

With your gift, The Fineprint Guide is able to:

  • Expand free educational resources that help low-income individuals and families understand medical bills, insurance, and healthcare costs

  • Support fundraising initiatives that help purchase essential medical equipment, including AAC communication devices, for low-income communities

  • Increase access and equity by ensuring cost and complexity do not prevent families from receiving quality care

Every contribution helps move healthcare from confusion to clarity.
